Quoting Scientists,Allahabad HC says Cow inhales exhales oxygen!
By: Tupaki Desk | 4 Sept 2021 5:29 AMNo animal in the country is as controversial as Holy Cow in India. While Hindus have been raiding the demand to stop cow slaughter, those who consume beef are opposing the demand to stop the slaughter and ban the beef.
Amid this, the order issued by the Allahabad High Court had made many heads turn. The Court said, Cow should be declared a national animal, and a resolution to declare the same should be placed in Parliament.
Allahabad High Court Judge Shekhar Kumar Yadav had issued an order on Cows in which he said, as per the belief of the scientists, Cow is the lone animal that inhales oxygen and exhales the same. The Cow ghee used in performing yagnas consists of special energy that results in creating rains.
The High Court even said, eating beef cannot be considered a fundamental right. Cows are an integral part of Indian culture. The protection of cows cannot be restricted to Hindus alone. Those who live in the country should work on protecting the cows.
Citing the example of the Taliban in Afghanistan, the High Court said the foreigners have attacked the country. We should be alert or else we have seen what happened with Afghanistan, the judge said.
In the order, the High Court had mentioned that during the festival seasons, a ban on cow slaughter was imposed by the then Muslim rulers. This says that they have understood the prominence cows have in our culture. Quoting the 1857 revolt, the Judge said, earlier when attacks took place against the Indian culture and cows, the citizens of the country stood against it.
The High Court made these comments while hearing the bail petition of a person named Javed, who is accused of cow slaughter. He was booked under the Cow Slaughter bill that was brought by the Uttar Pradesh Government.
While rejecting the bail petition, the High Court said, the bail petition was rejected as there are chances for the accused to repeat the same if he was released on bail. These sorts of issues might create a tense situation in the society, the judge added.
