R Narayana Murthy's Extraordinary Speech

R Narayana Murthy delivered a highly emotional speech during the World Telugu Conference. 'Hats off to KCR for making Telugu compulsory from Class 1 to Class XII. Just alike Gambling dens were closed, Telangana Government should shut down clubs & pubs. We need to learn respecting Mother Tongue from Tamilians and Kannadigas. When Centre tried to spread Hindi in South India, There was an intense movement in Tamil Nadu to save their mother tongue. I wish KCR emerges as a Leader who protects our mother tongue,' he said.
The Veteran Actor compared KCR with NTR, PV Narasimha Rao & Venkaiah Naidu to convey he is no less than those iconic personalities. 'It was NTR who ended 60 years of Congress rule. KCR have the qualities we admire in NTR, be it the love for Telugu Language or determination. PV Narasimha Rao is a political chanakya. Even KCR is no different. Neither Congress nor BJP granted Telangana Statehood though many people had sacrificed their lives. KCR achieved Telangana with his strategies. M Venkaiah Naidu who is known for his oratory skills has become Vice President. As KCR have all these qualities, I wish he becomes Prime Minister one day to strengthen South India'.
Finally, Murthy opined only the rich people who could afford studying in English Medium Schools are becoming IAS, IPS & etc., 'What about the poor who could only study in Telugu Medium? We don't want to serve as just constable, gunmen & secretary. Even we wish to be Collectors. So, KCR must implement his KG to PG promise and achieve the results,' he appealed.
