By: Tupaki Desk | 4 May 2017 12:35 PM GMTBifurcation is like a death blow to Congress Party in Andhra Pradesh. It couldn't even win at least few Assembly Seats in 2014 General Elections. 3 years have passed but still the National Party isn't able to regain even 10% of its vote bank.
AP PCC Chief Raghuveera Reddy conducted a Workshop in Vijayawada recently to strengthen the party. It was then PCC Vice President Tulasi Reddy stressed the need to announce Raghuveera as CM Candidate of AP Congress for 2019 Elections. 'For TDP, Babu is the party chief and CM Candidate. The same formula has been practiced by YCP as well. So, Our Vote Share would increase if we announce Raghuveera Reddy as CM Candidate prior to the polls, ' he advised.
Tulasi Reddy mentioned SCs and STs have always been supportive of Congress. He, however, accepts the fact that damage has been done to Congress after Jagan floated YSR Congress.
Raghuveera Reddy asked party leaders to prepare an action plan to fight 2019 Polls without pre-poll alliance with any other party. He informs that Praja Darbar will be conducted on June 7th to mark 3rd Anniversary of TDP Government.
