Will Nandyal By-Poll gets cancelled?
By: Tupaki Desk | 17 Aug 2017 1:22 PM GMTNandyal by-election has been making Leaders of Ruling Party & Main Opposition cope with sleepless nights. They are leaving no stone unturned to emerge as the winning horse.
YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy has been campaigning in Nandyal since the past 10 days. To counter him, TDP made Nandamuri Balakrishna conduct a whirlwind tour in Nandyal Constituency on Wednesday. While Shilpa Chakrapani Reddy joined YCP by resigning as TDP MLC, Former Congress MP Gangula Prathap Reddy joined Telugu Desam Yesterday.
On the other hand, Congress Party is trying it's best to make Election Commission cancel the by-election. Instead of focusing on the campaigning of his party candidate, APCC Chief Raghuveera Reddy has been keeping a close watch on the activities of TDP and YCP. He accused TDP Government of ignoring the issues in other parts of the state for Nandyal by-election. Mr.Reddy said hundreds of crores have been spent for a single by-poll as both the leading political parties are scared of defeat. He appealed EC to cancel the Nandyal by-election citing parties have been bribing the voters and influencing them in an acceptable manner.
How will Congress Party get benefitted from cancellation or postponement of Nandyal by-poll? Raghuveera Reddy should focus on winning the faith of people instead of making silly excuses.
