Rahul Gandhi.. when some people hear this name, they will get an unintentional smile for the reasons known to all. The opposition parties referred him as ignorant some people even branded him 'pappu'. Even though there is stuff Rahul's speeches, the style of his speech and mistakes grab the attention more than anything else. Sometimes he raises valid points against the ruling BJP government but they were sidelined by the opposition's criticism.
We have to accept the fact that Rahul is not a natural and fluent speaker like Narendra Modi. His speeches are not humorous..and he can't take jibes at the other parties like Modi does. But we can say that Rahul clearly understands the present day politics and BJP's faulty decisions. We will understand about his maturity as a politician if we have a look at his speeches on 8 different issues in the past few months. Ever since Rahul took the responsibilities of Congress as party president, he is cautious towards his speeches. We can say that this is making him one of the strong contenders for PM post in future. 1 Rahul Gandhi severely criticised Demonetisation. He fired on Modi that his unilateral and insensitive decision affected several poor and middle-class Indians. He said that small time sellers have gone jobless and more than 100 people lost their lives due to the demonetisation. A few days ago, Rahul tweeted that Indian economy is in ICU because of the demonetisation, GST and BJP medicine doesn't have the stuff to recover the economy from the impact. The tweet which was directed at Arun Jaitley has gone viral in the social media.
2. Rahul satire on GST is worth mentioning here. He said that Congress party meaning for GST is Goods Simple Tax.. but Modi GST is Gabbar Singh Tax. He criticised that Modi is asking the people to give all their money to him. He fired at the BJP government that small and retail business had to shut down because of GST and country's economy severely impacted.
3. Rahul said that Modi introduced several schemes like Make In India.. Digital India but he didn't take any steps to decrease unemployment in the country. He said that Country needs 30,000 jobs per day but the government is able to provide only 500.
4. While speaking about women empowerment, Rahul said that Modi government talks high about women empowerment but RSS doesn't have a single woman. He vowed to fight until women reservation bill is passed in the parliament.
5. Rahul said that intolerance is on the rise in the BJP rule and they are trying to divide the Indians in the name of religion who are otherwise live in harmony like brothers. He cautioned the government that this kind of actions denting the image of India at the international level.
6. While speaking in his tour of Maharashtra, he criticised Modi that the government failed in giving minimum selling price to the crops. His satire 'Suit boot sarkar' became popular in the social media. He said that Modi government is not taking any measures to control the growing number of farmer suicides.
7. Rahul said that people believed Modi that he will develop the country as he developed Gujarat. But it is just like a balloon which is shown to attract people but there is nothing inside. He criticised Modi is grabbing thousands of acres from the farmers to fill the pockets of businessmen like Ambanis, Adani's, Tatas.
8. He said that Congress tried very hard for ten years to bring peaceful environment in Jammu & Kashmir but the situation turned volatile after BJP came to power. He said that he is against violence and he lost his grandmother and father because of violence. He said that who will understand the word violence better than him.
