He alleged Modi of accepting Rs 40 crore bribe from Sahara from October 2013 to February 2014 when he was Gujarat Chief Minister.
Actually, These allegations weren't new. Renowned lawyer Prasanth Bhushan has already filed a PIL in the supreme court based on the info that IT Department found records showing Sahara has paid Rs 40 crore to Modi when raids were conducted. Supreme Court, however, dismissed the PIL saying the documents submitted can't prove Modi is corrupt. Now, Rahul Gandhi becomes a laughing stock by making the same allegations which were proven to be false.
