Rahul Gandhi enters into push-ups contest with a boy
By: Tupaki Desk | 12 Oct 2022 4:57 AM GMTRahul Gandhi is fast learning the tricks of the trade when on a padayatra. He is posing the right way and doing the right things to attract the media attention. The media and publicity wing of the party is going on an overdrive to publicise them across the country. The latest trick in the trade is Rahul Gandhi accepting a push-ups challenge during his yatra in Karnataka.
On Tuesday, he dared a boy to do push-ups. He too did around five push-ups on the road. Soon, Karnataka Congress chief DK Sivakumara and party's general secretary KC Venugopal joined him and did some push-ups. In his early 50s, Rahul did the push-ups admirably well. Soon, clips of his performing push-ups went viral on social media.
At the end of the push-ups, Rahul was seen patting the boy on his back. The onlookers encouraged Rahul Gandhi while he was doing his push-ups. Rahul, currently covering Karnataka, is walking 25 km every day. The yatra will end in Jammu and Kashmir next year. He would be covering around 3500 km and 12 states.
Several top leaders, MPs, MLAs and key workers are travelling with Rahul Gandhi. A small group of 150 persons is staying with Rahul Gandhi for the night in the AC containers provided for the yatris. The containers are furnished with sleeping beds, toilets and air-conditions for the benefit of the yatris.
