Congress Party's biggie Rahul Gandhi is currently a 'homeless' person in Delhi. Rahul Gandhi, who was disqualified from the Lok Sabha following his conviction in the Modi surname case, had to vacate the official bunglow allocated to him. After he vacated the official residence, Rahul Gandhi hs been staying with his mother Sonia Gandhi.

Now that he has lost the appeal in the High Court too, Rahul Gandhi is officially homeless. Sources say that he is likely to move into a three-bedroom flat in Delhi. The said apartment belongs to former Delhi CM Sheela Dixit. An official confirmation is yet to be issued on this issue, claim Congress sources. The new residence is said to be in B2 Nizamuddin Street in Delhi.

The Congress tried to project his disqualification as a vengeful act by the Central Government and his exiting from the official bunglow as a witch-hunt. However, the party could not get much traction from the issue. Meanwhile, the High Court too confirmed the Surat Court's decision. All these have dampened the Congress interest in the issue.

As of now, Rahul Gandhi is busy strategizing for the upcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Telangana. In all these states, the Congress Party has high stakes. In two of them, the party is in power and in the remaining two, the party is the main challenger to the ruling party.
