By: Tupaki Desk | 8 Feb 2018 10:04 AM GMTWhile addressing the Congress MPs for the first time since her son took over the reins of the party in December last year, Sonia Gandhi made it clear Rahul Gandhi is now her boss too and there is no doubt about it. At the same time, She claimed to be taking the initiative to unite like-minded parties to defeat NDA Government in next election.
Sonia Gandhi who is the chairperson of Congress Parliamentary Party said: 'I am gonna work with Congress President, Colleagues & Like-minded Parties to ensure BJP faces defeat in next election and democracy is restored in the country'.
The 71-Year-Old doesn't rule out the possibility of early polls. She says people are fed up with the NDA Government and its the responsibility of Congress to convert the discontent into support. 'Signs of change could be noticed with the results in Gujarat Polls and Rajasthan By-Polls. Karnataka Polls scheduled to happen soon would mark the resurgence of the Congress,' believes the Veteran.
Sonia alleged NDA Govt let loose investigative agencies to trouble political opponents and Minorities are feeling unsafe due to intolerance. She opined tall claims of Modi on economic achievements are far away from reality and accused NDA of increasing joblessness with anti-people policies. Stating Modi kept unveiling recycled initiatives since coming to power, Sonia commented BJP is playing the game of Max Publicity-Min Govt or Max Marketing-Min Delivery.
