Railway Budget:What has it for AP & TG
By: Tupaki Desk | 8 July 2014 1:05 PM GMTThe Railway budget introduced by Sadananda Gowda ended up as a major disappointment for both the Telugu speaking states.Andhra Pradesh and Telangana hoped for several new railway lines, introduction of new trains between densely populated cities like Hyderabad and Tirupati but both Telugu states failed to get any big projects in the Budget announced today.
No new projects allotted to the two states but only promised to complete the existing 29 pending projects. Total Six trains have been sanctioned for the sibling states.
Andhra Pradesh has got two trains and Telangana has got three new trains which also includes 2 semi-bullet trains and one ac premium train.

Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu recently urged Gowda to introduce several new trains from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to Delhi and other far off places in the country.But his requested were purley ignored by the railway minister.Several demands put up by both the states like Coach factory etc were also ignored.
