Rains puncture KTR's claims on Telangana's roads

Rain could not have come at a more inopportune time for TRS working president KTR. The recent havoc that the rain wreaked not just on Hyderabad, but across Telangana, has given an opportunity to YSRCP to pay back KTR in the same coin. KTR was at the receiving end of the social media trolls on Wednesday.
KCR recently made adverse comments about the condition of the roads in Andhra Pradesh. Though he later retracted his statement, his comments had deeply hurt the YSRCP cadres. So, when rain lashed Hyderabad on Tuesday and roads remained water logged, the YSRCP social media activists went on an overdrive and slammed KTR for the condition of roads in Telangana, especially Hyderabad.
Where are you KTR, in a swimming pool, asked one netizen while adding a pic of a waterlogged road in Hyderabad. Another asked him as to whether he was enjoying the swimming pool that Hyderabad roads are. The netizens posted pics of the water-logged and damaged roads in Hyderabad and elsewhere to comment on KTR. Interestingly, KTR perhaps felt it better not to respond and opted for complete silence on the issue.
The BJP too attacked the KCR government for the massive damage to the roads in Yadadri. It posted clips and pics of the damaged portions of the Yadadri bridge and questioned KCR about the conditions of the roads. Several have compared the damaged roads and leaking rooms atop Yadadri with the water-leakage in Amaravati secretariat that Chandrababu Naidu got constructed. On the whole, the people had a field day slamming KTR. The famed IT wing of the TRS for once fell silent.
