Raising Covid19 cases force Maharashtra govt to impose fresh lockdowns

The state government has announced fresh Covid-19 lockdowns. Lockdown restrictions were announced in Amravati and Yavatmal districts. The lockdown will be active for 10 days in Yavatmal, while a weekend lockdown was imposed in the Amravati district.
On the other hand, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has issued fresh guidelines for the financial capital Mumbai. The civic body has also warned that citizens who violate the rules will be prosecuted.
According to the fresh guidelines, the civic body BMC said, the patients in home quarantine will be stamped on their hands, a similar pattern used by the BMC during the lockdown period.
On top of this, 300 marshals will be appointed, who will be tasked to see that people who travel without wearing face masks outdoors and in trains. The violators will be prosecuted if they violate the rules.
The revised guidelines issued by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has stated that if any building houses five or more Coronavirus pandemic patients, the building will be sealed.
The concerned authorities will closely monitor the Wedding halls, clubs, and restaurants, etc. The marshals appointed by the BMC will see that the guidelines were not violated.
