By: Tupaki Desk | 13 Aug 2018 9:30 AM GMTRaja Goutham debuted into the industry as the son of a veteran comedian, Brahmanandam. He tested his luck as a hero in two or three films but failed to gain stardom. Now, he is teaming up with short film director Phanindra Narisetti and is getting ready to come in front of the audience again on September 7th this year with 'Manu'. Phanindra Narisetti is well known for his super hit short films like 'Backspace', 'Madhuram' etc. Recently, the makers unveiled the trailer for the film which is garnering a positive response from the audience. Talking about the movie Gautam stated that he is super confident about the success of the movie and keeping the outcome aside, he said that he is lucky to be a part of this movie.
"3 years ago, when a friend suggested me, I watched 'Madhuram' short film and got impressed. I appreciated Phanindra and over time we became friends. After a few days, he narrated a 15 minutes episode of 'Manu'. It was awesome and I discussed the same with some of my friends. After a few days, he messaged me saying that I have to play the Manu character in the movie. An actor feels happy only if he gets a challenging character and I felt the same that day," said Gautham.
He further added, "Before entering into the industry my father said that we should invest our sweat and blood into the work we do and I will never forget that. I worked hard for 'Manu' movie. Touted to be a suspense thriller, Manu is a crowd-funded the film and nearly 115 people invested in the movie.
