How Raja Singh Turned The Tables Against BJP?

If there is one person that the BJP in Telangana can't fix, it is Raja Singh. This hindi-speaking, fire-spitting MLA has always been a thorn for the BJP as he is for other parties. Unabashedly pro-Hindu, he has embarrassed the party once too often with his comments. On cow slaughter and Bangladeshi Mulism infiltrators issue, he is no-holds-barred in his comments.
So, some smart Alec in the BJP planned to get rid of him in the 2019 elections. So, he tried a smart trick. He is promoting Tiger Narendra's son Ale Jitendra for Goshamahal assembly constituency. So, what to do with Raja Singh? Make him party's MP candidate for Hyderabad. He will be made to fight Asaduddin Owaisi. Now, with over 8 lakh Muslim votes and just 6.5 lakh Hindu votes, it is next to impossible for Raja Singh to win this contest. So, he will lose both Goshamahal and Hyderabad. He will slowly vanish from the political scene.
But, Raja Singh being Raja Singh, has announced that he has no plans to fight Owaisi. He says the numbers are stalked against him. "If the party asks me to fight Owaisi, I will. But, on my own, I have no interest," says he. This clever statement only indicates that Raja Singh wants to extract some guarantees like MLC seat or Rajya Sabha seat if he loses to Owaisi. If the party does not want to give him that guarantee, he will contest from Goshamahal only.
