Rajasthan Royals Ben Stokes ruled out current IPL season due to broken finger

The Rajasthan Royals franchise announced the news of Ben Stokes ruling out of the IPL season due to a broken finger. In the match against Punjab Kings on 12 April 2021, Ben Stokes injured a finger on his left hand, the RR team said.
"Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Ben Stokes injured a finger on his left hand while fielding during the team's match against Punjab Kings on 12 April 2021 in Mumbai. Subsequent investigations revealed that he sustained a broken finger, which will unfortunately rule him out of the remainder of the Indian Premier League 2021 season," the official statement reads.
Adding further, the RR team said, Ben Stokes, will stay with the team to provide inputs for the team. We will look for a replacement to fill the place left by Ben Stokes, the team said.
Rajasthan Royals has lost the second bowler in IPL due to injury in the form of Ben Stokes. Earlier, Jofra Archer was also ruled out of the current IPL season due to a hand injury.
