Rajini-Charan multistarrer on hold

The past few months have been abuzz that director KV Anand (Rangam, Brothers fame) is going to wield the megaphone for Rajinikanth and Ram Charan's multistarrer. However, it looks now that the mega project is kept on hold for time being.
As per the reliable sources, KV Anand is all set to direct Dhanush's upcoming film which will go on floors soon. Young sensation Anirudh who composed music for '3' has been roped for the movie. The other details about the cast & crew of the film are yet to be finalized.
As a result, Rajini-Charan's multistarrer willn't be happening anytime soon. Usually, KV Anand takes a lot of time to complete a project and begin the shoot of his next film as he is always known for calling the shots only after having a bound script in hand. So, Superstar and Mega Powerstar has to wait for at least one-and-half year from now to join hands for the much-awaited project.
Meanwhile, Rajini's next outing Kochadaiyaan is gearing up for release in August this year. Charan will have two more releases (Zanjeer, Yevadu) this year to enthrall the fans.
