Rajinikanth Backs CAA And NCR

While there is much fuss about the controversial CAA and NCR bills across the nation with the opposition strongly opposing the bills and activists staging violent protests protesting the bills, Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth came in support of the controversial bills.
"Citizenship Amendment Act will not affect any citizen of our country. If it affects Muslims, then I will be the first person to stand up for them," Rajinikanth said.
"How will Muslims who chose to stay back in India following partition be sent out of the country?" Rajinikanth maintained.
He went on to say that the CAA will not harm any Muslims of India and if any Muslims get affected by this, he will be the first one to stand for the Muslims.
"NPR is a necessity to find out about the outsiders. It has been clarified that NRC has not been formulated yet," he added.
His statements on the controversial bills have created a sensation in the political circles on how come when entire Tamil Politicians even Kamal Hassan has openly opposed the bill Rajni backed this bill.
His behavior also added fule to the wide speculations of Rajinikanth joining the BJP party for the Assembly polls in Tamilnadu.
