Rajni Becomes 'Karnataka Drohi'!

Two major rivers of South India, Krishna and Cauvery flow through Karnataka. But the Highlands of Karnataka haven't been able to conserve that water due to geographical issues and that has become a bigger problem for farmers there.
As they started building more and more high dams to conserve as much water as possible, the issues for farmers of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu, low lying areas have become severe too.
Hence, the Krishna river water distribution tribunal and Cauvery river water distribution tribunal have been born. As the politicians started manipulating the farmers on either side, still the problem has not found a solution.
It became a more emotional issue with people. Whomever comments on these issues, they are hated by both sides.
Kamal Haasan reacted to the recent, court order regarding the issue, stating that Tamil Nadu, needs only 177 TMCs of water, while, they were given permission to get 198 TMCs. He said, farmers of TN, did not get their due and justice.
Superstar Rajnikanth too reacted to the issue after fans asked him to and said that TN farmers did not get the right justice and have been neglected.
With his comments on social media, Superstar Rajnikanth became Karnataka Drohi for several farmers in the state. They agitated against his statements and burnt his effigies (disthi bomma). They gave a warning that they will not allow Rajnikanth's films to be released in Karnataka.
