To everyone's surprise, Super Star Rajinikanth has decided not to venture into electoral politics, citing his health condition, the decision came days ahead of his announcement on his political party launch.
He took to Twitter and shared a letter written in Tamil to announce his decision. He said, he will not enter politics, but he will continue to serve the people of Tamil Nadu.
After Rajinikanth took a U-turn, his political advisor Tamilaruvi Manian announced that he will also quit politics, but he didn't mention any reason for his decision.
In his letter, the political advisor who has experience of 50 years, said, he took the decision to quit politics, as he feels there is nothing left for him to achieve in politics and that is why he took the decision, media reports claimed.
It has to be noted that, in the essay, he has written in Tamil Newspaper Dinamani he wrote last month, he heaped praise on Super Star Rajinikanth and said the star possesses modesty and love.
