Politics? Wait Till Dec 31st: Rajinikanth

The six-day Fans Meet of Rajinikanth began at the Raghavendra Kalyana Mandap in Chennai on Tuesday. He will be meeting 1,000 fans per day till December 31st, 2017.
While addressing the fans on Day 1, Rajinikanth claimed he isn't new to politics but it just got delayed, indirectly referring to the famous statement in 1996 - 'Even God can't save Tamil Nadu if Jayalalithaa retains power' which defeated AIADMK in the Assembly Polls. At the same time, He tried to maintain the suspense by saying, 'God willing, I will enter politics. My stand will be announced on December 31st'.
Rajinikanth described Politics to the battlefield and went on to say one has to win after stepping into it. He claims to be reluctant to politics because of the difficulties. 'One has to estimate pitfalls and benefits before taking a plunge into politics. To win a war, Courage alone won't be sufficient…strategy is a must,' he opined.
Thalaivar admits he didn't enter into films to become a hero but his fans have made him what he is Today. He reveals Rs 50,000 was his first remuneration as Hero.
