Rajiv Arogyasri rechristened as NTR Arogyasri

'Rajiv Arogyasri' which was one of the highly successful programs during YSR's regime has been now rechristened as NTR Arogyasri by the TDP Government. AP Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas announced the decision in Assembly Today.
Kamineni Srinivas informed as many as 100 other diseases will be included in NTR Arogyasri. He claimed to be making few changes to 'Rajiv Arogyasri' to provide better health care.
Apparently, There was allegations of the Congress government that 'Rajiv Arogyasri' had benefitted corporate hospitals. YSR's Government faced criticism for failing to improve the standards of Government Hospitals at the same time.
