Actor and comedian, Rajpal Yadav, has been fighting a legal battle for not returning the loan amount to a Delhi based Corporate company since 2012.
He took Rs. 5 crores as loan from Murali Projects owner, MG Agarwal for a film, Atha Patha Laa Patha. He had to return the amount by 3rd December, 2011.
He couldn't and the person moved to court. Court gave him and his wife, Radha Yadav, sufficient time to return the money.
As they couldn't, Rajpal Yadav is sentenced to 6 months jail and court asked him to pay Rs. 11 crores for all the delay.
Court fined his wife with Rs. 80 lakhs. Rajpal Yadav took bail after paying an amount of Rs. 50,000 to Court.
