Rajya Sabha seat on the cards for Prashant Kishor?

Noted Political strategist who has hit the headlines recently with a person claiming that Prashant had cheated and theft his content has once again found himself in the news with news floating that he might get a seat from the TMC party for the Rajya Sabha elections that will be held in West Bengal in the next month.
A political source said that the Trinamool Congress(TMC) party belonging to Mamata Banerjee has decided to go for the new faces as the party is looking to have active members in the Upper House of the Parliament.
The tenure of the seats held by Manish Gupta, Jogen Chowdhury, Ahmed Hassan Imran, and KD Singh of the TMC party will be vacated.
"Given the demands of the national politics at present, more active politicians and Rajya Sabha MPs are needed. Therefore, the youth should get a chance. Prashant Kishor has opened a front against the BJP. It will help TMC to speak out at the national level. Those who can get a chance on the other seats include Dinesh Trivedi and Mausam Noor," said the source.
Going by the strength of the MLAs in the State Assembly, the TMC party will get four seats in the Rajya Sabha while on the other hand there is a chance for a candidate at the fifth slot either by the backing of CPI(M) and Congress or the TMC and Congress combined.
