Ram Charan lost Rs 20,000 Bet

It is learnt that both Ram Charan and Priyanka Chopra would often place bets when they were asked to speak the lines in Hindi and Telugu, while shooting for 'Zanjeer'. Most of the time, it was Priyanka who had an upper hand. For one of the dialogues in the movie, Charan was supposed to say 'Chaakoo Neeche Rakho - Yeh America Nahi Hai', but he uttered 'Chaakoo Neeche Rakho - Yeh Hyderabad Nahi Hai' to lose a bet money of Rs 20,000 to his co-star.
Apparently, Priyanka used to write her lines in both English and Hindi, then mug up them and speaks out. Surprisingly, the actress who was not familiar with Telugu used to get her lines perfectly and Charan, being a Telugu guy, used to miss his lines because of his absence of mind. At times, even Piggy Chops will mess up with her Hindi lines and Cherry would get it right!
Despite shooting simultaneously for both the versions, Ram Charan feels 'Zanjeer' is like a cakewalk and he thanks director Apoorva Lakhia for wrapping up everything so quickly. He opined that the idea of Reliance to make the film a bilingual makes sense as his popularity in AP (With the theatrical rights of Telugu version itself getting sold out for Rs 50 crore) would take away the major burden of this Rs 70 crore project.
