Ram Nath Kovind elected as 14th President

Whereas, Opposition's Candidate Meira Kumar secured 34.35 percent (3,67,314) of votes. Mr.Kovind won against his Opponent by a huge margin of 3,35,330 votes. Swearing-in Ceremony of the 71-Year-Old is on July 25th.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers, Chief Ministers of AP, Telangana, West Bengal and Other States congratulated Ram Nath Kovind. Interestingly, Meira Kumar didn't receive even a single vote from AP.
