Yes, Ramoji Rao will be launching an FM Radio station soon. The ground work to bring the FM Radio has begun in Ramoji Film City. Office Space is almost ready and necessary equipment has been procured already.
As many as 266 FM Stations have come up for auction in 92 cities and towns in the country. In the country-wide auction, 66 FM Radio channels have been sold out. Eenadu Group bagged two in Warangal and one each in Vijayawada and Tirupati.
Centre earned Rs 200 crore from the sale of 66 FM Stations. Highest Bid of Rs 23.4 crore was placed by Kal Radia belonging to Kalanidhi Maran's Sun Group. Dehradun FM Radio Station fetched Rs 15.61 crore and even this was bagged by Sun Group. About 200 FM Stations were unsold.
