Armed Forces Should Not Be Provided With Nutrition Based On Ranks: Rahul Gandhi/

Congress leader, Wayanad Lok Sabha Constituency Rahul Gandhi who participated in the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence meeting, batted for the nutrition for the armed forces.
Rahul Gandhi said that the armed forces should be provided with nutrition irrespective of their ranks as they are defending the nation standing at the border.
Speaking further, Rahul Gandhi found fault with the difference in food items that were provided to officers and soldiers and said nutritious food should not be provided based on their ranks.
Rahul Gandhi went on to say that amidst the border tensions with dragon country China, ist not appreciable to have differences in nutritional levels between Jawans and officer rank holders
The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence was chaired under the leadership of BJP leader and former Union Minister Jual Oram. The Committee met for the meeting on Friday.
