Rashtrapati Bhavan lodged complaint against Modi

Rashtrapati Bhavan lodged a complaint against former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi with New Delhi Police for his alleged derogatory remarks against President Pranab Mukherjee's Secretary Omita Paul.
Inspite of receiving the complaint, Delhi Police is yet to file a case and they are considering the option to seek necessary instructions from the court to block Lalit Modi's twitter page. Police Commissioner BS Bassi will take a final call upon seeking legal opinion in this matter.
Lalit Modi alleges Pranab Mukherjee who served as Finance Minister in UPA regime had issued orders to Enforcement Directorate to act against him after he found fault with IPL's Kochi franchise shareholding pattern. Modi exposing the irregularities has led to the resignation of then Union Minister Shashi Tharoor.
