Remember Silicon Andhra Hospital? Does the name ring a bell? Yes. It's the same hospital that TV9 ex-CEO Ravi Prakash has set up in Kuchipudi after collecting huge amounts from the NRIs. The hospital's inauguration was a gala affair with the then CM Chandrababu Naidu himself inaugurating it. The event was star-studded with a bevy of celebrities from Ravi Prakash's community attending it.
Today, the hospital is said to be in doldrums. There are no facilities worth the name and even oxygen cylinders are reportedly not available. It is also rumoured that a patient had recently died due to the lack of oxygen cylinders and Ravi Prakash reportedly bought the silence of patient's relatives by paying up huge amount to them. It is also being said that Ravi Prakash has also silenced the local media.
Ravi Prakash reportedly collected up to Rs 50 crore in the name of the hospital. Though he promised world-class facilities at the hospital, the reality is said to be completely different. There are no facilities and the equipment is said to be in bad condition. The people of Kuchipudi are not happy with the hospital as the whole hospital is now reportedly being run by just 30 people, including the nursing staff. Will Ravi Prakash, who 'exposed' several similar scams, speak up about the condition of the hospital?
