Ravi Shastri and three others in isolation after Covid positive

After a few players in the Indian camp have tested positive for the novel Coronavirus during India's tour of Sri Lanka, it's the turn of the coach to catch the respiratory disease. The head coach of the Indian national team Ravi Shastri tested positive for the Covid.
Besides Ravi Shastri, three members from the support staff have tested positive for the Covid after their reports came back positive. The International Cricket Council(ICC) had confirmed the development through its Twitter handle.
âIndian head coach Ravi Shastri has tested positive for COVID-19 and will be kept under isolation along with three other members of the coaching staff,â the ICC said in a tweet on the Covid in the Indian camp. In the tweet, ICC had also attached a statement.
In the statement, the ICC said Ravi Shastri, bowling coach Bharat Arun, fielding coach R Sridhar, and physiotherapist Nitin Patel have been sent to isolation as part of the protocols and they will not travel with the Indian team until their reports come back negative.
The statement adds that after Ravi Shastri tested positive for Covid, the members of the Indian team underwent the tests on Saturday night and Sunday morning. After their test reports came back negative, they were sent to the stadium to take part in the game.
