Indian All-Rounder Ravindra Jadeja was the Man-of-the-Match for the 2nd Test Match against Sri Lanka in Colombo. He scored an unbeaten 70 runs in the First Innings & picked up 7 wickets during the course of the game.
Unfortunately, International Council of Cricket (ICC) suspended Ravindra Jadeja from 3rd Test Match scheduled to happen at Pallekele. A 'Throw' costed the All-Rounder this final Test Match in the ongoing tour.
When Sri Lanka's score was at 205 at the loss of 2 Wickets in the 2nd Innings of Second Test Match, Jadeja who is bowling to Dimuth Karunaratne hurled the ball at the batsman soon after the delivery was solidly defended. While Karunaratne managed to escape unhurt, Wicketkeeper Saha who tried to stop the ball from reaching the fence got hurt. ICC Elite Panel of Umpires deemed the action from Jadeja as dangerous and imposed a ban for one Test Match.
