25-Year-Old Cricketer suffers Heart Stroke
By: Tupaki Desk | 21 Nov 2015 12:46 PM GMT25-Year-Old Cricketer Raymond van Schoor who is representing Namibia breathed his last on Friday after he suffered a heart stroke during a match against Free State in a CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge Match.
While the game was progressing, All of a sudden Raymond complained of dizziness and asked for water. Within few seconds, He collapsed and declared as brought dead by the doctors after rushing to the nearby hospital.
Cricket Namibia released a statement expresses condolences to the family of the deceased cricketer. Even ICC mourned the sudden demise of the promising cricketer.
Raymond has been a huge asset for Cricket Namibia. He scored over 8,000 runs playing representing Namibia in more than 200-odd matches. He made 4,303 runs in 92-first class matches including five centuries and 20 half centuries.
Actually, Raymond was the youngest player to represent Cricket Namibia. He was the skipper of Under-15 team and also featured in ICC World T20 qualifier.
