RBI's shocking statement on Demonetisation

RBI claims to have received Rs 15,280 crore in Junked Notes after imposing a ban on old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes. The Central Bank also told it had no information whether if Demonetisation would be implemented on a regular basis.
Till June 30th, Rs 15.28 lakh crore of scrapped notes were received by RBI. The verification for numerical accuracy of the old Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes is still under progress.
On November 8th last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Demonetisation has been planned to wipe out black money, fake currency and terror funding.
