A week before his 'Chalo Amaravati', Mudragada Padmanabham issued an Open Letter targeting the AP Government and Police Department for taking all measures to foil his indefinite padayatra.
As per media reports, Cops have been counselling Kapu Youth to refrain from participating in 'Chalo Amaravati' saying their future will get spoiled if they indulge in such practices. Even Youth were threatened with cases and jail term.
While responding to these reports, Mudragada questioned: 'Whether reminding the poll-promises to AP CM Chandrababu Naidu comes under crime? Does the cops punish Youth if they seek implementation of promises? Are we in a democratic nation? or If we are still under British rule? This CM have the desire to continue as CM as long as he can and make his son as his successor. Then, What's wrong if Kapu Youth fight for their rights? Let them send any number of people to jail…we will resume padayatra after come back'.
Already, Mudragada has declared that this is the last fight to achieve Kapu Reservation. The intensity is building slowly & hence State Government is taking all preventive measures.
