Prime Minister Narendra Modi took potshots at AP CM Chandrababu Naidu during the public meeting Kurnool on Friday. He accused the TDP Supremo of taking u-turn and targeting him after Centre sought Utilization Certificates for the funds released until then.

Modi alleged Chandrababu Naidu joined hands with corrupt ignoring the development of the state. He accused TDP Government of renaming Central Government Schemes to attain political mileage. He appealed Andhrites to offer yet another term for BJP in the best interest of the nation.

PM claimed 3 lakh new Gas Connections were sanctioned in Andhra Pradesh alone, Funds were offered for Polavaram Project, Educational Institutions such as NIT, IIT and Tribal University were established in AP. Modi recalled NDA Government has set up Solar Project in Kurnool, Petroleum Varsity and IIFCT in Anantapur. He told NDA Government has improved the infrastructure in Visakha, Vijayawada, Tirupati and Rajahmundry Airports. 'Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy fought for the development of Rayalaseema, but now Leaders of this region have been doing injustice to the people. Isn't Chandrababu Naidu responsible for lack of drinking water in many villages? AP CM hasn't cooperated with Centre for development of the state. We are willing to offer funds for AP,' he told.
