Expelled AIADMK Deputy General Secretary TTV Dhinakaran disclosed he have a video footage of former CM late Jayalalithaa watching TV while undergoing treatment in Apollo Hospital. He promises to submit the footage to any inquiry commission as an evidence that there is no conspiracy at all.
None other than VK Sasikala Natarajan captured the video. Dhinakaran claims the video clip wasn't released only to protect Amma's dignity as she was dressed in a nightie. 'Amma is very conscious about her image in public life. Only Family Members had seen her in a nightie. Even when then PM Rajiv Gandhi met her following an accident in 1989, She covered herself fully. Amma always maintained her dignity and no outsiders was able to see her in informal attire,' he says.
Dhinakaran reveals Amma had lost lot of weight when the video was filmed. He even told Sasikala disapproved his proposal to use the video for RK Nagar by-poll campaign as Amma's nightie was loose due to weight loss. He accused CM Palaniswami of ordering for judicial commission only to convince O Panneerselvam for merger.
