Realtors In Telangana Breathed A Sigh Of Relief!

The Telangana High Court, which heard a bunch of petitions in connection with the registration process through the Dharani Portal ruled out that the non-agricultural properties can be registered through the portal.
As the case concerning the registration process through the Dharani Portal, the registrations across the state were paused since September this year.
After the Court gave its nod to register the non-agricultural lands in the state, IT Minister KTR said, CM KCR asked the CS to start the registration process from Friday.
'Hon'ble CM Sri KCR Garu has directed the chief secretary to commence the registration activities of Non-Agricultural properties from tomorrow in accordance with the HC orders,' KTR's tweet read.
The other day, the High Court said the state government can go on with the registration activities of the non-agricultural lands, properties in the old method. For the registrations, owners and sellers should make slot bookings.
The High Court also said, besides making slot bookings, Property Tax Identification Number (PTIN) is a must for the registration activities in the state. The state government will provide PTINs for owners who have not applied yet.
On the other hand, the stay on the Dharani Portal continued as the High Court adjourned the next hearing to the 16th of December. The Court directed the state government to file a counter-affidavit over the Dharani portal.
