Why Did JC Speak About 40 % MLAs Being Unpopular?
By: Tupaki Desk | 24 Oct 2018 4:05 AM GMTJC Diwakar Reddy is very stragetic. He might appear to be speaking off the cuff. But, he is very planned in his comments and actins. His recent comments on 40 per cent of the TDP MLAs being unpopular and would be replaces are being seen as a part of the strategy. These comments are not just off the cuff. He knows what he is saying and what are their implications.
His recent comments that 40 per cet of the MLAs have strong anti-incumbency factor working against them, political pundits feel, has deeper implications. But, he did speak about it openly. He has not informed this to Chandrababu, but to the media. Why did he go to the media rather ran going to Chandrababu and tipping him off about the ground reality? His intention appears to be to pinch the TDP and its boss Chandrababu Naidu. His plan is to put pressure on the party boss and in return get what he wants from the party or the Government. He believes that he can get the things done by putting pressure rather than requesting and lobbying. He has done this even while he was in the Congress. Only during the YSR regime did he look subdued because this stratagem never worked with YSR for YSR was made of a different mould and could pay back JC in his own coin. But, when it comes to Chandrababu, JC is in full flow and is ever ready to hurt him with his comments.
Sources say that behind JC's comment is the strategy to get tickets for his backers and his son. Instead of asking or requesting Chandrababu, JC has adopted this attitude. His real aim is to control the Anantapur politics by coercion and domination.
