By: Tupaki Desk | 1 Nov 2018 10:40 AM GMTDespite the media reports, there is still confusion about the seat-sharing in Maha Kutami. Some reports say that there is a broad agreement on the seat-sharing. But, at the same time, there are also reports that TJS chief Kodandaram is set meet Congress chief Rahul Gandhi to discuss seat adjustment.
But, here is an interesting nugget of info about the Kutami. Three top leaders of the alliance partners might not contest the elections this time. According to reports, TDP Telangana president LV Ramana, CPI state secretary Chada Venkat Reddy and Telangana Jana Samithi chief Prof. Kodandaram may not contest the elections this time. These three leaders are reported to be determined to oust the TRS and want to focus all their energies on campaigning and coordination. In return, the Congress has reportedly assured that they would be accommodated in the ministry and would be made MLCs.
Meanwhile, the first list of the Maha Kutami candidates would probably be out on November 2 Sources say there would be around 50 names in this list. All the Kutami member parties are hoping that the things will move faster in the Kutami and that they would be in a position to launch the campaign.
