By: Tupaki Desk | 26 Feb 2018 2:01 AM GMTWe people always have some dreams or the other, that end up unfulfilled and we try to make it a reality, but we still fail to achieve them.
Sridevi, an actress who conquered everything she had an eye for, also couldn't fulfill her one wish.
In a interview to an English daily in 1988, she said that she will be entering into politics in next three years, that time.
She said that it was her father, Ayyapan Yanger's idea and she wants to adhere to his wish. She remarked that she will do what her father wishes as a politician, as he knows much more than her.
She also said that she will have him as her chief political consultant and with his huge knowledge, she can also try to bring a better governance to the people and provide services to them.
Somehow, she could not enter into politics. Interestingly, her rival, Jayapradha entered into politics and even became a Member of Parliament.
Her father's political connections resulted in her debut into films. One day, when he and his friend met, Kamaraj Nadar, then Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, he saw young Sridevi and told her parents that she has a bright future in movies.
Kamaraj Nadar, recommended her to writer Kannadasan and the writer took her to producer, Chinnappa Devar, who is looking for an young actress or actor to play Lord Bala Murugan role in his movie, Thunaivan. It was the first movie, of Sridevi.
