Why Stalker killed Infosys Techie?

Ram Kumar, the prime accused in Infosys Techie Murder case, befriended the deceased girl on Facebook in December last year. He also features in the list of Swathi's Facebook friends and they even exchanged messages on the social networking site.
Later, Swathi and Ram Kumar exchanged their phone numbers. An SMS sent by the Accused before committing the crime has reached Swathi's cloned mobile phone.
During the investigation, It came to light that Ram Kumar had stalked Swathi and even kept an eye on her daily routine. He preferred to stay at Choolaimedu after moving to the city as its near to Swathi's residence.
Ram Kumar told Swathi repeatedly refused his love proposal and heckled him by comparing with Langur Monkey. He stole the sickle from a banana plantation near his native place but never had any intention to her the Techie. After she insulted him citing his looks, Ram Kumar lost his cool and stabbed her to death.
