Why is Vijayasanthi sulking?

She has not been active for over four years. No one knows where she was all these years. Except for offering Bonum to Mother Goddess, she has not been seen anywhere. Even when Rahul Gandhi came to Hyderabad, she was in hibernation. Yes. We are talking about firebrand politician Vijayasanthi.

So why is Ramulamma aka Vijayasanthi not coming out of her shell? Why is she remaining silent even after the poll bugle is sounded? Why is she is silent even now? Sources say that Vijayasanthi is upset that the Congress is not recognizing her worth. She feels she should be given the post of all India general secretary. But, the Congress high command has stopped at the national secretary post. This has made her lapse into silence.

Vijayasanthi was with the BJP first and had campaigned vigorously for the party. Then, she joined the TRS and even became an MP. In 2014, she joined the Congress and contested against deputy speaker Padma Devender Reddy. She lost the election to the TRS nominee and ever since, she has kept a low profile in the party and was not available for any programme. Congress cadre feels that she has to come out of the self-imposed exile at least now and campaign for the party.

But, like always, Vijayasanthi is still sulking. She should realize that the party will have no use for her once the elections are over.
