Record Number Of Us Student Visa For Indians Approved In 2021

For the Indian students who want to move abroad for higher studies, the United States is the first preference. No wonder, Indians make up a significant percent of foreign students in the United States.
As a piece of good news for such students, a record number of student visa applications were approved by the United States for the year 2021, despite the Covid impact.
The American Embassy officials said that so far more than 55,000 students' visa applications were approved to see that the students won't face any delay in the start of the academic year.
Due to the Covid impact, the entire visa process got delayed and as a result, the interview session for the visa applications that was supposed to be held in May this year took place in July.
The delay in the interview process had in turn resulted in the delay of the acceptance of the student visa applications.
The Embassy and Consultants that oversee the visa processing are happy that a record number of visas were approved despite the delay caused by the Covid.
Ambassador to the U.S. Embassy Atul Keshap expressed his happiness over the visa numbers and appealed to the aspirants whose visas were not approved to be patient.
Saying that the visa processing is underway Atul Keshap said the remaining visas will also be approved as soon as possible.
He gave an insight on how studying in the United States is a kind of experience that opens up various career and employment opportunities. Besides having good academic experience, they will also get to see various opportunities, he said.
To match up the two months delay caused by the Covid in the visa process, the U.S. Embassy and the Consulates have begun to work overtime to compensate for the delay. Their efforts from July had resulted in a positive way for Indian students.
Thanks to their valuable efforts and the hard work they put in. The students who have been waiting for the student visas were provided with the visas in larger numbers than the number recorded every year. The main goal is to see that students won't lose any semester due to the delay.
