Small ticket films turned as good picks for TV channels and the recent Sundeep Kishan starrer Venkatadri express has bagged good amount in form of satellite rights.Now one more small film has pulled record amount.Sundeep Kishan and varun Sandesh starrer ‘D for Dopidi’ movie is on a roll. The film’s satellite rights have been picked up by Gemini TV for a record price.
The film bagged a whopping Rs 1.7 Cr through satellite rights. The price is said to be the highest ever in recent times for films in that budget and range.
Young hero Nani bought 50% stake in this film and he is acting as presenter of the movie.Nani also lent his voice for the movie.Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK are producing the film D for Dopidi under the banner of D2R Films Pvt Ltd. The film is releasing on 25th December and Dil RajuÂ’s company SVC is releasing it in theaters.
