Red Eatala becomes Saffron Eatala

Finally, ' Red' Rajendra Finally, ' Red' Rajendra became 'Saffron' Rajendra on Monday. After years of left politics and decades of Telangana separatist politics, Eatala Rajendra joined the BJP at New Delhi. Along with him, two ex-MLAs – Ramesh Rathod and Enugula Ravinder Reddy – another former Naxal Tula Uma, RTC union leader Ashwatthama Reddy took the formal membership of the party.
Affable and friendly, Eatala is known for his soft manners. He has friends across the spectrum and has practically very few enemies. But, saffron has never been his choice. But circumstances and compulsions forced him to join the BJP. Joining the BJP became an inevitability for him. But, the BJP leaders received Eatala warmly. They not only welcomed him into the party, but also lauded the work he had done as the health minister of Telangana during the covid period. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said Eatala would be a great asset for the BJP in Telangana. Pradhan said that after Karnataka, Telangana is the state where the BJP will form the government.
Eatala and his associates went to New Delhi in a special plane. Though they wanted to take more people along with them, the BJP leadership has indicated to them that the number should be kept below 20 as per the covid norms. The real test for Eatala will begin now in Huzurabad bypolls.
