Reliance Jio's First Shock to Subscribers

Reliance Jio announced Summer Surprise offer on March 31st, 2017. Apart from extending the deadline for Prime Membership to till April 15th, Jio launched a complimentary offer of unlimited data usage and free calls on payment of minimum Rs 303.
However, Telecom regulator Trai directed Reliance Jio to withdraw the 3-Month Complementary Offer. Subsequently, The Mukesh Ambani's Company announced that it would comply with the directions of Trai. Which means, The Three Month Complementary offer of Jio Summer Surprise will be terminated within few days.
Reliance Jio, however, makes it clear that all customers who have subscribed to Jio Summer Surprise prior to discontinuation will be eligible to use the offer.
Jio managed to attain 100 million subscribers in just few months due to the free voice call and data usage offer. As many as 72 million people have subscribed for it paid services by March 31st.
