Reliance to roll out affordable 5G Set and Laptop at company's annual meeting!

The much-awaited Annual General Meeting(AGM) of Reliance Industries Ltd will take place on the 24th of this month. Like the previous year, this year too, the meeting will be held virtually, in the wake of Covid fear.
As a bid to see that the general public and shareholders of the company can know what decisions were taken during the meeting, the General Meeting will be live-streamed on YouTube.
Media reports are abuzz that Reliance might introduce the affordable Jio 5G mobile set during the event. In 2020, Reliance announced that it had collaborated with search engine Google to launch an affordable 5G phone.
Besides the mobile phone, an affordable laptop might also be unveiled during the meeting. These laptops named ‘Jio Book’ are expected to be equipped with basic specifications, along with cellular connectivity.
Jio is currently the leading Telecommunications company. The company had surpassed Airtel, Idea and other companies to reach the top spot. With the company ramping up the efforts to launch the 5g Network, there will be no stopping for the company.
With the expected launch of 5G sets and affordable laptops, Reliance will expand its wings further into the Indian market. It has to be noted that, Work From Home became the new normal now and a lion share of employees are working from home.
