The Hyderabad High Court exempted the India Cements Managing Director N Srinivasan from appearing before the trail court in connection with Jagan disproportionate assets case.

In the chargesheet filed by CBI, Alleged quid pro quo deals between India Cements and then A Government to obtain undue favours have been mentioned. It was Jagan who influenced YSR Government to allot 2.6 acre of land in Kadapa and sufficient water allocations for India Cements. In return, N Srinivasan has invested Rs 140 crore in Jagan's firm Bharati Cements.

Later, N Srinivasan moved High Court seeking quash of the case filed against him by CBI. He claims CBI hasn't have any evidence to prove the conspiracy and all the water allotments were done as per the existing rules.

The High Court posted further hearing of the case to September 29th after CBI sought time to respond on the claims of India Cements.
