Removed Cheat-Element from Anamika says Sekhar Kammula

The Telugu-Tamil bilingual Anamika is an official remake of Bollywood superhit 'Kahaani' in which Vidya Balan appears as a pregnant lady from the opening sequence to till the last few minutes and then comes a big surprise (fake baby bump).
However, Sekhar Kammula choose to remove the pregnancy element for the remake as he doesn't want to fool the audience by incorporating something which isn't real. "Kahaani is a brilliant script, but I didn't like the cheat element in it. I preferred removing the element and made changes to the climax as well to make it look real," he told.
Sekhar declares Nayantara has performed so well in the character of a helpless woman who is in search of her missing husband in Old City. He feels her natural performance will be a big asset to the movie which will be hitting the screens on Feb 27th.
