Firebrand Leader Bags Khammam MP Ticket

Congress Leadership unveiled its 7th list of 35 Candidates for Lok Sabha Polls 2019. Renuka Chowdhury managed to bag Khammam MP Ticket.
Few weeks ago, The Firebrand Leader threatened to quit Congress Party if she was denied Khammam MP Ticket. There were reports of Nama Nageswara Rao planning to jump into Congress for contesting in Khammam Segment. The Industrialist, however, joined Ruling TRS and obtained the desired MP Ticket as well. This development cleared all the hurdles for the candidature of Renuka Chowdhury for Khammam Lok Sabha Segment.
Renuka Chowdhury was elected as Khammam MP twice in the past. Even Nama Nageswara Rao had served as Khammam MP. They both are relying mostly on the cadre base of their parties for this elections.
During 2018 Assembly Polls, Congress bagged most seats in Khammam District and TRS was restricted to just one seat. 6 Sitting MLAs in Khammam District joined TRS in the past few months. So, The clash between TRS and Congress is going to be interesting.
